Ways to unblock Streamyx BT P2P PPS
In my last blog : Malaysia Streamyx Block BT P2P PPS , i write that Streamyx already start to block BT, P2P and causes a software called PPS to have low download speed. Though, there is still some ways to overcome or we says "unblock" Streamyx BT, P2P ,PPS.
All we required to "unblock" "Screamyx" Blockage to BT P2P and PPS is by downloading and installing a software called "Hotspot Shield".
Below is the step to do:
1. Download "Hotspot Shield" and install.
2. If you are using PPS, refresh the programmes list. If you are using a BT software such as Bitcomet or Thuder, you need to do nothing. :)
3. Run the "Hotspot Shield" software that located in your desktop.
4. Enjoyed back your full speed bt p2p and pps using Streamyx broadband.
5. If you had tried and it works for you, please post a comment to me saying that it is useful or else i will threat it as a useless method and delete this post.
Download link: http://www.hotspotshield.com/
Note that this software is not using any hacking or crack technology.The only disadvantage i encounter when using this software is when you surfing internet, an advertisement will be shown in the above of the web page(There is nothing wrong as the people making this software also need to make some revenue for himself right?)Some of the people claims that they have a higher speed than before. So, what are you waiting for? Just try it and you will know its power!

Malaysia Streamyx Block BT P2P PPS
Malaysia Largest Broadband Provider, Streamyx seems already start to block BT,P2P and one of the software that using P2P technology which is widely used by Malaysia Chinese, knowns as PPS by 29 July 2010.
A lot of people from Johor Bahru, Pulau Pinang and KL encounters the extreamly low downloading speed while using P2P application. For my ownself, i had watched PPS very smoothly on 28July and before. However, in the day just before yesterday, i encounter the same problem as many of the streamyx users.I get only 100kbps to 230kbps downloading speed that are shown in the PPS.
Many of the streamyx users complaint that they can't do their usual routine on the internet such as downloading movies, games and watching drama, programmes from the internet that using P2P software. It seems that if streamyx still stubborn and continue to block BT, a lot of the internet users will start to switch their broadband services to others Broadband Providers such as Celcom, Maxis and P1Wimax.

Iphone 4G Malaysia Price
A fellow commenter (Global) has recently shared with me there’s a company in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia reselling the unlock versions of the Apple iPhone. They are sourcing the Apple iPhone units direct from the USA and utilizing the iphonesimfree software (IPFS) to unlock the devices before shipping them to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Middle East, and Europe.
Woohoo! Sounds great doesn’t it? Well, to be one of the minority of Apple iPhone users in Malaysia you will need to burn RM2998 or RM3680 for the device. Global has also informed he did place an order and hasn’t found a problem using Maxis, DiGi or Celcom. However, there are a few things you will want to know.
Personally, I don’t belong in the upper-class nor the middle-class lifestyle. My parents most likely are there but for myself, I am working my way into the middle-class. Therefore, burning RM2998 for a 4GB Apple iPhone just to be one of the few in Malaysia is not for me at the moment. However, if I do reward myself a bonus by the end of the year I will be one of the few with an Apple iPhone in Malaysia.
The breakdown cost based on the information I have and read is:
* USD399 Apple iPhone
* USD25 US Postal Shipping and Handling (no tracking)…or
* USD125 FedEx courier (2 days delivery)
* 10% Import duty
Total cost there is: USD576.4 (RM2011.05)
Then now add the cost of iphonesimfree (which is not found on their website); current total minus the selling price of the Apple iPhone for Malaysia (RM2998 – RM2011) equals to RM987.
When I mentioned there are few things you need to know, one of it was the cost and the other is that this unlock software isn’t foolproof to activate every single function in the Apple iPhone.
…all features currently available on locked phones are available on unlocked phones (Youtube may require some specific activation).
Source: iphonesimfree.com
With the recent iphonesimefree 1.5 release version, it allows the Apple iPhone to work on numerous networks but it isn’t a guarantee all applications will work or if Apple releases a new firmware, the Apple iPhone may be locked again. But of course, there’s nothing to fear as long the team at IPFS are around.
If you’ve been literally dying to get your hands on the Apple iPhone to be used in Malaysia, irregardless of any consequences and have the RM2998-RM3680 to burn then by all means place your pre-order at iPhones Unblocked.
Apple iPhone Question of the day:
Will you pay RM2998 or RM3680 for this Apple iPhone to work in Malaysia?

My first impressions of the device are largely positive. Apple has once again built a product that looks good and feels great in the hand, and the familiar user interface, borrowed from the iPhone and iPod touch, is perfectly suited to the bigger screen. The iPad whizzes along, opening applications, re-sizing web pages, and zooming in and out of maps almost instantaneously.
It's a great, fun gaming platform, and it's lovely to view full-size web pages while browsing the internet. Developers, no doubt, are already rubbing their hands with glee about the apps and services they could tailor specifically for this device.
The new touch-optimised iWork suite is beautifully realised, making it quick and easy -- and, dare I say, fun -- to piece together a spreadsheet or presentation. It also helps to elevate the iPad to more than just a plaything.
As Steve Jobs said during his keynote, if you're going to create a third category of device, between the smartphone and the laptop, then it needs to be better than either for certain tasks. In many areas, this is true for the iPad -- web browsing is much better on the iPad than the iPhone, just because of the bigger screen, and physically flicking through photos, music and movies is just more enjoyable on the iPad than a laptop.
But in several crucial areas, the iPad falls short of the functionality that would have made this more than just a large iPod touch. The lack of Flash support is a major issue; the iPad's big screen is designed to make the best of multimedia content and the full-screen browsing experience, but the sight of little blue squares dotted around web pages where embedded video should have been just makes you feel like you're being short-changed.
The iPad's inability to multi-task could also severely hamper its appeal. It's being pitched as a portable device that you could kick back and use on the sofa at home, but you can't listen to your Spotify playlists at the same time as writing an email, or browse the web while using an instant-messaging app to chat with friends. It's one or other, just as it is on the iPhone and iPod touch, but for the extra money you're paying for the iPad, you expect something more akin to a laptop computing experience.
I love Apple's new e-reader application, iBooks. The virtual bookshelf, on which your digital tomes sit, is an example of Apple design at its best; elegant, simple, well-executed. The reading experience itself was also delightful, with the pages of the virtual books having the sort of patina you would expect to find on a printed novel. Turning pages is achieved with a swiping gesture, or a single tap in the right-hand margins.
But I think the backlighting of Apple's pin-sharp display is going to cause a lot of tired eyes; e-Ink is deeply unglamorous, but it does the job superbly, and I don't think serious bookworms will be swayed to chose the iPad over the Kindle or a Sony Reader. For the casual reader though, the inclusion of the iBooks app, and the iBookstore, is a boon, and likely to inspire impulse purchases of novels in much the same way as the iTunes music store on the iPhone and iPod touch is a constant temptation.
Before yesterday's event, analysts were adamant that the iPad would be the saviour of newspapers and magazines, but there was little sign of that at the launch. The New York Times showed off a slick application, but it just felt like a larger-scale version of their iPhone app rather than a genuine step-change in the way printed content is delivered and consumed. I had hoped to hear more about how the iPad could be used to read magazines or shape the day's news agenda. However, it's still early days and Apple are only now able to talk more openly to prospective content partners about mutually beneficial deals.
The iPad is a lovely device that gadget fans will lust after, but I'm yet to be entirely convinced that it offers enough of an advantage over my smartphone or laptop. I do think it has the potential to be a game-changing device, but it will be the second- and third-generation versions that really drive the agenda, and introduce a new and innovative way of computing.
Ultimately, the iPad is a large iPod touch: a great device to draw your inspiration from, but perhaps not the seismic shift in technology that we were expecting. But watch this space...
